Medical Director of Kidney and Pancreas Transplant

Transplant Leadership Institute has been engaged by Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas, to lead the search for a Medical Director of Kidney and Pancreas Transplant. This role centers on providing comprehensive transplant nephrology services, including evaluating kidney and donor candidates, managing both inpatient and outpatient care for solid organ transplant recipients, and overseeing clinical outcomes. The Medical Director will join a Division of Nephrology comprised of 12 nephrologists and 5 advanced practice providers, supported by a robust outpatient nephrology and dialysis practice. Additionally, the division features a well-established nephrology fellowship program, with fellows actively participating in the Transplant program.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an AST-ASN accredited transplant nephrology fellowship
  • Board certified in both internal medicine and nephrology
  • Prior transplant program leadership is preferred
