Medical Director of Kidney Transplantation

Transplant Leadership Institute LLC has been retained by UT Health Houston and Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas to identify and recruit a Medical Director of Kidney Transplantation. The selected candidate will advance and build the kidney program and will also focus on transplant nephrology services including evaluation of kidney and donor candidates, inpatient and outpatient care of solid organ transplant recipients and monitoring clinical outcomes. The candidate will participate in quality and selection committees and assume a key role in partnering with surgical colleagues and other members of the team.

The Kidney Transplantation Program operates under a shared governance model between Memorial Hermann Hospital and McGovern Medical School, offering a comprehensive range of advanced inpatient and outpatient services, including both surgical and nonsurgical care, for patients requiring organ transplants.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an AST-ASN accredited transplant nephrology fellowship
• Board certified in both internal medicine and nephrology
