Transplant Nursing Director

VCU Health System’s Hume Lee Transplant Program is seeking a Transplant Nursing Director.   This position will provide leadership, oversight, and clinical operations management along the continuum of care for solid organ transplantation (heart, lung, liver, kidney, pancreas, and pancreas islets)- – includes dedicated transplant ambulatory clinics, progressive care inpatient unit, acute/chronic dialysis, and quality programs.

Qualifications for the position is  a Masters Degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited school.  If Masters Degree is not in Nursing, then it is a requirement to have a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.  Also required is ten (10) years of relevant clinical experience with five (5) years of progressive leadership or management experience.  Experience in an academic medical center is a plus.
