TLI has been retained by Life Connection of Ohio to identify and recruit a President and CEO for their federally designated organ procurement organization (OPO). The position will lead, direct, develop and implement all operations of organ procurement and recovery services including clinical services, hospital development, donor family services, and community education in the OPO’s donation service area (DSA). The President and CEO is responsible for developing plans and operational programs which are expressed in the mission statement and policies of the organization in accordance with Legal and Regulatory compliance. The position will also develop and implement strategies that maximize organ donation volumes and consent rates of non-registered citizens resulting in increased numbers of organs available for transplantation, medical therapy, education and research.
Requirements for the position are: a Bachelor’s degree in business or health related field with a Master’s degree in business or health related field preferred; a minimum of ten years of progressive senior management experience in an organ procurement organization or in healthcare with a demonstrated ability to develop, implement and follow through on initiatives; and a minimum of 5 years experience working in the organ recovery or transplant field.
