Director of Organ Recovery
Transplant Leadership Institute has been engaged by ARORA in Little Rock, Arkansas to identify and recruit a Director of Organ Recovery. The position is responsible for planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of operations for the Organ Recovery Services. Other responsibilities include: developing and maintaining standard operating procedures related to the recovery of organs for transplant; research donation; maintaining responsibility for evaluating and analyzing departmental operational plans; monitoring, and maintaining financial performance indicators; and ensuring administrative/operational opportunities to effectively grow the organization. The Director of Organ Recovery is also responsible for administrative direction and leadership activities including oversight of all hands-on clinical operational aspects of organ operations, recruitment, development, and retention of all Organ Recovery staff.
Minimum job requirements are:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or other health related field.
2. At least 3 years recovery/transplant experience required and 4 years management experience.
3. Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC) preferred or obtained within 1 year.
