Heart & Lung Transplant Administrator

Southwest transplant program is seeking an experienced Heart and Lung Transplant Administrator for one of the fastest growing Heart Transplant Programs in the US and our soon to be Heart & Lung Transplant program. This is a great opportunity for an expert in this field to become an integral part of a nationally recognized team.

The position is responsible for leading, directing, and supporting clinical and nonclinical personnel in a manner that ensures the delivery of the highest quality patient care; responsible for planning, implementing, reviewing and controlling operating budget, staffing, and performance improvement processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; Master’s preferred.
2. Ten years of healthcare experience working in a clinical setting and five years of management experience. Must have experience in transplant program administration (preferably heart & lung). Must have strong transplant regulatory knowledge.
3. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all levels of staff.
