Director of Clinical Operations-Heart Transplant

Penn Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has retained TLI to recruit a Director of Clinical Operations for their heart transplant program.  The position is responsible for the program’s day to day clinical operations throughout the transplant phases of care from pre-transplant phase (referral, evaluation, and waitlist) to the transplant event phase and through the post transplant (follow-up for life of the transplanted organ) phase of care. These phases span the outpatient and the inpatient care continuum. The Director of Clinical Operations will provide program oversight in conjunction with surgical director and the medical director to ensure the delivery of safe, quality patient care in alignment with applicable state and federal regulatory requirements (such as CMS, OPTN/UNOS and TJC). The Director of Clinical Operations serves as the face of the program across the organizational matrix working with associated service lines and departments that deliver care to transplant patients.

Requirements:

Master’s Degree Healthcare Administration, policy, Business, Nursing or related field and 7+ years relevant work experience including at least 3+ years in Clinical Management

BSN required with transplant experience preferred.
