Director of Clinical Hepatology and Liver Transplant (Nursing)

University of Pittsburgh Medical Center has retained TLI to identify and recruit a Director of Clinical Hepatology and Liver Transplant. The position is responsible for day to day, overall supervision and coordination of clinical operations for the Hepatology and Liver Transplant program and hospital based clinic. This includes managing performance of staff, productivity, patient flow, patient access and billing, and to assure extreme regulatory agency standards are met. Also works collaboratively with the respective Medical Directors of all transplant programs to develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational changes and to assure quality patient care services.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Masters degree in Nursing, Business or Public Health required.
  • Minimum of five 5 years of transplant experience including two years hospital experience and three years progressive management experience in an ambulatory care setting or office practice required.
