Manager of Organ Recovery Services

Transplant Leadership Institute has been engaged by Mid South Transplant Foundation in Cordova, Tennessee, to identify and recruit a Manager of Organ Recovery Services. This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the organ recovery department and serves as a clinical expert for donor suitability, organ allocation, organ recovery for transplant and research, training, call responsibilities, and import/flyout process for the organization. This position is also responsible for maintaining the kidney perfusion laboratory in a 24-hour state of readiness. This position supervises and directs staff while holding them accountable for compliance with all internal policies and other federal, state and industry requirements.

Minimum qualifications: Degree in life science, business or health related field preferred; Minimum of three years’ experience in organ recovery required. Previous management experience preferred.
