Medical Director, Liver Transplantation

Transplant Leadership Institute has been engaged to identify and recruit a Medical Director of Liver Transplantation for a prestigious New York City area health system.  The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Internal Medicine with Subspecialty Board Certification in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology and qualified to be a UNOS primary physician of a liver transplant program.   Key responsibilities include oversight and execution of the Hepatology section, oversight of the medical aspects of the liver and living liver donor program, programmatic growth and development, teaching, and research.  A competitive compensation and benefits package is included along with an academic appointment commensurate with credentials and experience.
