Nurse Manager, Thoracic Transplant

The University of California at San Diego has retained TLI to identify and recruit a Nurse Manager of Thoracic Transplant. The Manager is responsible for day to day, overall supervision and coordination of clinical operations for the Heart & Lung Transplant and VAD Programs. This includes managing performance of staff, productivity, process improvement and to assure regulatory agency standards are met. Also works collaboratively with the respective Medical Directors and administrative and clinical leadership for the Heart & Lung Transplant and VAD Programs to develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational changes and to assure quality patient care services.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of management experience required with transplant and VAD experience preferred.
