Transplant Coordinator-Liver Transplant

Southwest transplant program has an immediate need for post-liver transplant coordinators.  The post-transplant coordinator, in collaboration with the Transplant Surgeons and Transplant Physicians, will monitor the care of the post liver transplant patient.  This position requires analyzing laboratory results (daily logs) for the post liver transplant patients on a daily basis and working with the physician to determine the appropriate medical and immunosuppressive management.  Working in transplant clinic, triaging patient calls and assisting with medication authorization requests, renewing medications and laboratory tests will also be a part of the job.

Qualifications:

Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing, BSN and four (4) years of professional nursing experience to include two (2) years in transplant, critical care, or disease specific area.
