Transplant Hepatologist

Transplant Leadership Institute LLC has been engaged by the Westchester Medical Center to identify and recruit a Transplant Hepatologist.

The candidate must be board certified in Internal Medicine and have completed a fellowship in Transplant Hepatology or possess significant experience in liver transplantation, research and teaching. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the transplant surgeons in the selection and care of liver transplant recipients and possess specialized training in the management of patients with end-stage liver disease, pre- and postoperative care of transplant patients, and in the use of immunosuppressive therapy including the side effects of the drugs and the complications of immunosuppression.
