Ventricular Assist Device Coordinator

TLI has been engaged by Umass Memorial Healthcare to identify and recruit a Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) coordinator. This position is responsible for facilitating the care and education of Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) patients and their families throughout the process to ensure continuity of care across the VAD/Transplant continuum. Participates in patient and caregiver education. Provides educational/outreach programs regarding VAD to health care providers, patient groups, community organizations, and others in the hospital’s service area. The VAD Program Coordinator is a member of the Core VAD Team Leadership.

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with a minimum of three years of cardiovascular clinical experience.  Masters degree in Nursing and/or VAD or advanced heart failure experience preferred.
