VP Transplant Services

Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a VP of Transplant Services.  The position will provide overall direction and business development, marketing, physician relations, and community outreach for the transplant program.  Directs all departments (Transplant Administration, Transplant Clinic, Transplant Therapy, Kidney Transplant, Liver Transplant and Organ Procurement) and financial functions connected with the day-to-day management of the entity and performs additional duties at the request of the Chief Operating Officer.

Requirements for the position are:

• Minimum requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, nursing, or related field with experience in transplantation. Master’s degree preferred.

• Ten (10) years experience in progressive leadership roles in an acute care setting in which clinical and leadership skills have been demonstrated to be effective. Transplant experience is preferred.
